On a daily basis, we vie with neighboring states for leadership in respecting the environment and protecting biodiversity. In an area that is now totally “carbon free” three nations (Italy, Austria and Slovenia) converge, producing enough hydroelectric, photovoltaic and biomass energy to power our communities and businesses. This, avoiding the use of fossil fuels and drastically decreasing CO2 emissions. We are proud to operate in an environment close to “zero” emissions and contribute actively in reducing the planet’s rising temperature.
The energy we use for our processing plants comes exclusively from renewable sources.
We operate in this corner of Italy that, back in the days of the Roman Empire, served as the first barrier to counter barbarian invasions.
Even the ancient Romans had defined the “Karni” as strong, determined people with great woodworking skills.
