Case history
Recent subsidized social housing projects built in Trieste, Udine, Pesaro, Padua and Milan are supported on a futuristic wooden load-bearing structure made by Eurostratex. A trend, that of wood construction, which has also expanded to the world of tourism with major projects for resorts and tourist villages, as well as high-rise residential developments and mountain hotels, such as those in Piancavallo. Speed, dry construction, comfort, anti-seismic compliance, reaction to fire: all qualities easily achieved by using wood as a substitute for other materials.
